My long term goal is to find a college that meets both my athletic and academic needs. Athletics is fleeting compared to receiving a degree to set the path for life long career aspirations; however, there are multiple facets to athletics instilled and are part of my core values that will continue long after the last game is played. Leadership, teamwork, mentorship and communication are key ingredients to a successful team and being a successful player on that team. These translate into personal life and my future career. Overcoming adversity is commonplace in athletics and sets me up for navigating adversity when it comes throughout my life. I believe being an athlete prepares me just as much as academics will prepare me.
