Rebekah Wilks '22 Recruiting Profile

Attending college and graduating is one of my life goals. My dad comes from a family of engineers who have attended college for generations. My mom is the first person in her family to go to college. I have heard of the sacrifice and determination of my mom, who worked two jobs to finance her college career. Both of my parents are successful and had a great start because of their college education. I know that college will give me the tools to be successful in a changing world. 

As a disciplined player, I often put my teams needs ahead of my own. I am the leader on the court and decide what plays are best in a given situation. I have to make tough choices regularly and plan strategically for my team to succeed.

I believe that I am knowledgeable player who is sensitive to my team and the demands of the game. I always fight for my team! They know when I step on the court I will do my best no matter the situation. They can count on me! I am a person who doesn't tolerate disunity, bad behavior or putting others at risk. I stand up for what is right. I strive academically to do my best and I put forth the extra effort to make the grade. I understand that academics will boost my future prospects for success. I strongly believe that my education will shape my future.
