I am Eva Batcha, a 5’9 2027 OH/RH for 17 Blue KVA volleyball club in Houston, Texas. I am a sophomore and play Outside for Katy, Taylor High School.
A little about me. I am fluent in Spanish. I have an older brother, and 2 younger sisters. A fun fact, I have 2 family members who are NCAA champions, and I can do a handstand for 45 seconds. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and volunteering at my church with special needs children.
I have two years of club experience. I have been training and playing consistently for over 4 years at a volleyball school and still have more room for progress and improvement. I love being the hype man on my team, always cheering for teammates that get big kills, monster blocks and good digs. I love getting big kills but most of all I like to be strategic and find open spots on the court and hit seams.
I am a very competitive player whether I’m on the sidelines or on the court and I've been awarded most spirited during my school and club season. Even though I haven’t been playing volleyball for a long time, it has helped me not only physically but mentally. I have changed so much as a person after finding volleyball. Volleyball helped me find my confidence that I've been hiding and bringing out a happier and stronger version of myself. It has helped me in the classroom to achieve my best academic goals and currently carry a 3.7 GPA.
