Every athlete faces the question, "Why do you love your sport?" and it's always the same answers: stress reliever, fun, something to do, but my passion for volleyball is a little bit deeper than that. For as long as I can remember I've had a volleyball in my hands. Volleyball is something that's dug deep into my soul and has become something that I have grown very passionate about .
Having so much experience has shaped me into being a very competitive team leader, I'm very dependable and agile on the court. I've also grown to understand that in order to be a successful team, we must all have the same common goal and share an understanding for one another, I've had a very positive effect on every team I've been on whether it be school ball or select. I'm willing to grow as an individual and athlete from my mistakes and constructive criticism from my coaches and teammates. Club Ball: (Multi-Time Team Captain and Team Leader, MVP award,Selected to Play AAU National Tournament 2 Years in a roll) School Ball: (A-B Honor Roll, Varsity Starter Sophomore Year, Key Player, Bi-District Champs, All District Honorable Mention) Also Made Varsity Track and Field Team My Freshman And Sophomore Years in Relays and High Jump Currently Sitting, 1st In School Record 4x100 relay, 2nd in 4x200 and 4th in High Jump
Although, I'm a bit more on the shorter side what I lack in height I make up for in my vertical and arm swing. I'm also very versatile and willing to play any position to the best of my ability when called upon. At 5’6” I have even been asked to play middle blocker last season due to teammate being injured. Even though sports are something I hold close to my heart academics play a major role thus meaning no pass no play. As of right now I'm open to any college and I am looking for a good fit with a competitive volleyball and academic programs!
