Personal Statement
My name is Aracely Jovita Moreno and I plan on working hard on and off the field to accomplish my goal of becoming a pediatric doctor. My philosophy on being a leader and a role model to others are very important. I serve my community through various activities that include volunteer work at the hospital and church. I'm involved in numerous sports that include volleyball, basketball, shot put and discus. I'm also a part of NHS and HOSA. Placing my faith in God and knowing that I will be a great team player that is committed to the team is my main priority. As a young athletic leader in my home town, I have hundreds of community hours helping the indigent, feeding the poor and have served in many faith-oriented retreats for young adults. I've grown to know and accept that a leader isn't always the first person to finish or the captain of the team. A leader is so much more than that, a leader is an individual that is willing to follow through with your commitments and strive to be the best version of yourself in anything that you do on or off the field.
