Personal Statement
Winning state just as a sophomore has been the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel like I grew the most as a student- athlete my freshman year when my team didn’t make it to the state tournament. That overall experience helped me grow as a person and most importantly helped me refocus on my goal of being an outside hitter more than capable of playing at the college level.
I am fortunate enough to be a part of such an amazing program, almost going to the state tournament my freshman year, and then winning state my sophomore year. I have learned the value of teamwork, sacrifice, commitment, and most importantly leadership. I’m looking for a program that will be a great fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team, and have the character, leadership skills, and work-ethic to make an inpact on your program.
