Lauren Knudson '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi!! My name is Lauren Knudson, and I am a junior in high school. I love taking pictures and hanging out with my friends. Of course, I also love to play volleyball :). I've been playing volleyball since 6th grade, first starting out on a middle school team from my school. where we won the league championship three years in a row! Since then I have been playing on my high school varsity team, and playing travel for 4 years.  I have a younger brother, and while you might think we fight a lot, we are actually really close and love to hang out and jam out to music in the car. I have two amazing parents, and I am not just saying that because I have to. They are so supportive of me and my aspirations, and always push me to be my best self. I love the game of volleyball so much, which is why I want to pursue it in college. My teammates are some of my closest friends, and I love being able to be a part of a team and getting to meet new people. I always love to challenge myself in the classroom as much as I do on the court. I am a great candidate for any team because not only am I hard-working, I also am very driven to become the best player I can be, and love to encourage others to do the same.
