Personal Statement

Hi Coach! My name is Claire Hester I am a 5’9 Libero/DS (RS). I mostly am a Libero/DS as well as a utility player for my HS team and my club team, Tier One Volleyball Club. I began volleyball in 5th grade but I took a break until 8th grade. I grew to love the sport and started taking it seriously in 9th grade. I love this sport for the memories, friendships, character building, and the lessons and information it has taught me. And I want to continue this amazing sport into a college/university with a great athletic and academic program. On the court I am good at remaining in the moment, shaking off my mistakes, working hard, learning, and building up the other people around me. While I am not on the court I often draw, go out, hangout with family or friends, and read. Thank you coach for taking the time to read my statement!
