Faith Nguyen '21 Recruiting Profile

As someone who has lived their whole life in a small rural town, I don't have access to big club names or 6A schools, but I feel that the area in which I grew up has strengthened me both as a player and person. Because of how small my town is, I have been able to forge incredibly strong, family-like relationships with my teammates, who I have played with throughout my entire volleyball career, and I have been allowed to opportunity to be a leader on and off the court.

I was raised on the ideal that nothing in life comes without hard work, and I have demonstrated that in my schooling, multi-sport athletics, and many extracurriculars. While much of my life is surrounded around the sport I love, I am much more than just a volleyball player! I am a math tutor, a lead member of band, a photographer and an entrepreneur. Beyond that, I am also a dedicated student, who prioritizes the quality of an education over their athletics. I am incredibly passionate about whatever I do, which has allowed me to be successful in may areas of life.
