Briana Gillis '13 Recruiting Profile

I have successfully completed three years as a member of the Varina High School volleyball team. I do plan to be an important asset during my upcoming senior year  the fall of 2012.  I played setter my freshmen year, and a right side hitter and a middle block/hitter my sophomore year.  This past volleyball season, my junior year, I played middle at times, but was "well known" as a dominant powerful server.  

I also play city league volleyball here in Richmond at the Richmond Volleyball Club. This is my second year at  the club.  Last year I played left side. During our present season - which continues through May 2012, I play middle position. Playing league volleyball  allows me the opportunity to sharpen my skills during non-peak volleyball school season. In addition, my high school coach has already started conditioning for the upcoming fall season.

I am interested in any school with a volleyball program. I will entertain all options across the nation in any division. My goal is to become a veterinarian; therefore I will be entertaining any school with a science school where I could major in Biology, or even a pre-vet major.

I have recently registerd and submitted my application to the NCAA Eligibility Center as well. 

My goal is to become the best volleyball player I can be.
