Paige Smith '18 Recruiting Profile

I am very glad that you are interested in me. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, academically and athletically.

I currently attend Kellam High School in Virginia Beach, VA, where my high school team and I recently won the 6A state championship. I have a 3.9 GPA (as of last year) and this year, I am taking 5 AP classes; AP US History, AP BC Calculus, AP English 11, AP Psychology, and AP Physics 1. My intended majors are relatively broad, and they range everywhere from physics or math to internationals relations or history. My intended career path is to be an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps.

As far as athletics go, I have been playing volleyball since I was 11 years old when my older sister started playing her freshman year of high school. My athletic goals in college are to play for a strong program with strong competition, where one has to work hard for play time and prove themselves.
