Lily Guthrie '21 Recruiting Profile

    I'm sure you've heard/read every variation of a p.s. that tries to catch your attention, so I'll give you 8 important facts:

1. Looking forward to being on the court drives me to obtain and keep good academic records.
2. In the world of a fast-paced person like myself, volleyball is my strongest passion.
3. I'm not afraid of tough-love.
4. I know how to listen to a Coach's message. I can understand a Coach's intensity, and I do well transfering that intensity into my game, not my emotions.
5. I am not only genuinely excited to be a piece of a successful play, I am also genuinely excited for a teammate's success (despite any differences that might come between us).
6. I do well with using my failures as motivation to perfect my skills. That said, I have the ability to discard the failures in-game after I've analyzed the problems.
7. I love bringing/keeping positivity and determination to my teammates.
8. Every season of volleyball I play (school season, winter club, summer leagues), I improve all-round as an offensive and defensive hitter, as well as back-row passer.
