Kelly Anderson '14 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball for over 4 years, and plan to continue to compete through my college years. Volleyball has taught me a lot about commitment, how to be a selfless team player/ leader, and most of all, responsibility. In addition to playing school and club volleyball, I am a dedicated student. I’ve carried a 3.95/4.0 GPA through my first two and half years of high school, and am working hard on maintaining my honor roll status at Peninsula High School. I continue to challenge myself by taking AP classes. (2 sophomore year and 3 Junior Year) Just as I have challenged myself during the first half of my high school years, I want a college that will continue to challenge me in the same way. I am seeking a college program that electrifies my competitive spirit and pushes me physically and mentally. When not taking on volleyball practice and a heavy homework load, I enjoy photography. I would love to integrate this hobby into my college experience. At this point I have not decided on a major but have interests in, and want to explore, psychology, criminal justice, and business/finance. My relationship with God is an extremely important part of my life, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if not for His guidance. Because of this; a college that continues to further my relationship with Him is on my priority list. As this process goes forward, I hope that God will help guide me to where I can be the most successful student, athlete, and disciple.
