I have been playing volleyball for five years, although it has felt like it has been apart of me for my whole life. This sport has provided me with many unique opportunities and memories, as well as life lessons and friendships that will remain with me forever.
Every time I step on the court I treat it like it will be my last; this is why I play with so much passion and intensity. I have been very fortunate to play every position on the court, which has given me insight from all perspectives. This has definitely increased my volleyball IQ.
When not on the court, but in the classroom, I strive to maintain my 3.9 GPA by asking questions and studying. I am also a part of my high school's DECA Leadership Team as well as our National Honor Society. I have had many volunteer opportunities with school, sports, and church, but my favorite has been the mission trips through my church.
I want to attend a college that will help me to reach my academic and athletic goals as well as provide me with opportunities to be involved within the local community. In the end, I want to be a role model for the younger generation and make my family proud.
