Maeve Edmund '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Maeve Edmund, I'm a 6ft outside hitter and I attend Pius XI Catholic high school. I have played volleyball since 4th grade and was introduced to it when I was much younger. As soon as I started I always knew I wanted to play in college. My goal is to make my younger self proud, improve my game, and play for as long as I can. On any team I am on I always look forward to practicing and getting as many reps as possible. I am a good candidate for your team because I have self discipline and always push myself and my teammates to be better. I do not only have self discipline on the court but also in the classroom. My grades and learning are very important to me and for what I want to pursue in the future.  What makes me different from other recruits is my versatility as a player. On my high school varsity team I have been asked to play three different positions in the course of two years. I am a reliable player and I am someone the team and coach can always count on both on and off the court.
