Personal Statement

Every since I have played volleyball in elementary school, my aspirations have always been set on volleyball. Even though other sports are just as intense to play, volleyball has always been a stress reliever. Always a team player and keeping my team up whenever they are down. Even when a player thinks they are not doing so great, I'll give advice so that our next point, is from them killing the ball. I will always be willing to play volleyball at any waking hour of the day. My GPA stays at a consistent 3.2/4.0 or higher. Off court season I still go to recreational centers, and practice on what I believe I need to work on. My college aspirations are to focus on my academics and do what I love. To stay physically active my entire life is my goal. I plan on being a fitness trainer or a coach in the sport most passionate about. My freshman year of high school I was starter every game for Freshman. My Sophomore year I was a starter and continued to set every match with my team. In the season 15-16' (Junior Year) my Varsity team coached by Ben Zoelle, I was the setter as well with my team and we made it to regionals, but went to set 5 and just fell short going past 25 points. For my upcoming senior year, I am determined to encourage my team to work for regionals and make it past.
