I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade. As a freshman, I was asked to be the starting libero for the varsity team. The sport has always been one of my favorites, but this year has made me truly appreciate all that I have and realize what I love. Volleyball is one of those things that bring love into my life. This is more than just a sport to me. I will go the extra mile to not only better myself, but to help the team. I'm not afraid to have to put in an extra hour of practice or watch tapes and clips to increase my knowledge and abilities of the game. Each day that I show up to practice I look to push myself and my teammates to get better. One aspect of this game that I love so much, is the camaraderie that is created. Being part of a team with strong bonds while playing such a competitive sport is very important. To know that each girl both on and off the court has your back is reassuring. Another characteristic of this sport that is not comparable to any other, is energy. I tend to be very vocal both on and off the court, at practice and games, and always cheering for my teammates.

- AwardsI am currently on the high honor roll, Freshman year I was part of the high honor roll during the first and second semester, I was selected to be part of the National Honors Society, my Sophomore year. In sophomore year I was part of the high honor roll in both the first and second semester. In my junior year of high school, I was part of the high honor roll in both the first and second semester. In my sophomore year of high school, I was a recipient of the Student of the Month award. I received my academic letter in my freshman year. I received my academic medal and pin during both my sophomore and junior years of high school.
- ActivitiesI am part of the SHS Band, FFA, S.H.A.R.E., Student Council, and PALS I was part of the honors band during my freshman year. I am an active member of FFA and have been for three years, 2022 being the start of my fourth year. I was part of the 2021-2022 officer team and held the position of president and treasurer during my sophomore year, 2020-2021. S.H.A.R.E., student helping area resistance efforts, is a school program that I am part of that donates their time to the local community members. One of the specific activities that we are well known for, is the gift baskets that we give out during the holidays to the less fortunate. I have been part of S.H.A.R.E. for four years, this year will be my fifth year. I joined Student Council my junior year of high school and was the Secretary. This year I am the Treasurer of the Seneca High School Student Council. We run local blood drives in our community and put care bags together for shelters around the area. PALS is an organization that Seneca provides for a select group of seniors that meet up with younger, elementary students once a week to bond and connect with.
