Hannah Feest '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was in 5th grade and it has changed my life so much. I have so much passion for this sport and I could not imagine losing touch with it after highschool. I would love to be a libero at the collegiate level. When I made varsity as a freshman I was exposed to a lot of adversity with not getting much playing time my freshman and sophmore years of highschool due to seniors filling my position. My sophmore year playing club for the Wisconsin Ice was one of the best experiences of my life; playing a year above my age level and at the higher of the two 17 age groups, going to nationals with my team, and getting so much experience as a starter has strengthened my game so much and prepared me well for my current junior season. Volleyball is my stress reliever, and my escape from reality. The competitive quick pace has had me hooked from the beginning.

Academics is just about as important to me as volleyball is. I have always gotten good grades, just shy of a 4.0 every semester. I am involved in many other activities like FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) taking an interest in entertainment and sports marketing. I am in science club, interested in anatomy. I also have taken a liking to teaching and children, I am a member of the friends program ( similar to the big brother big sister organization) and also spend my Sunday mornings as an aid to the 4th and 5th grade Sunday School class at my church. Although I still remain undecided for my major as of now, I always put my heart into something I have a passion for.
