Zoey Wilson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! My name is Zoey Wilson and I have been playing volleyball since I was in third grade. My love for this sport has grown so much over my career. I love how energetic volleyball is and it is one of my favorite things about the game. The intense atmosphere is what I strive for. Cheering and encouraging my teammates always has been and always will be one of my greatest attributes. No matter if we are doing good or not. I am always searching for criticism from teammates and coaches and am ready to make myself the best player I can be. 

In three years of high school volleyball, I have played the middle blocking position. This year, I have been asked to switch position and start hitting from the outside again. A camp coach strongly recommended me and my coach to play me in the outside to have a bigger hitting role. On top of this, he also mentioned that my team is going to need me in the back row to play defense. I am confident that no matter where I'm put, I can play my part to the best of my ability, whether that be in the middle, outside, or back row.
