My whole life I have always loved all things involving water, especially swimming. In addition to water polo, I spend time competing in swim. I started my swim journey when I was 8 with the club team HEAT then continued it with the team SIGMA and into my high school, Midway swim team. I was first introduced to water polo when I signed up for a camp just to try it out. This was by far one of my best sports career decisions. At my first practice I knew that water polo was the sport for me. My love for water polo continues to grow each time I play. I have now played in two high school seasons, three summers of club, and competed in two Junior Olympics. I have had the opportunity to play for two wonderful club teams Cowtown and Longhorn Aquatics. Water polo has taught me to be tough, competitive, driven, a leader, as well as a supportive and motivating teammate. To me water polo is about improving your play and always being willing to go the extra mile to help your team succeed. In addition to being an athlete I am also a great student. I have always been extremely motivated when it comes to school. I have never received anything below a B on a report card and my current GPA is 103.66. I have always been interested in helping people and all things regarding the anatomy of the human body. So, my dream is to go into the medical field to help people heal. Besides being an athlete and a student, I am also a Christ follower. I am a member of Highland Baptist Church and strive to put God first in my daily life.
