Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Madyson Gray, Thanking you for visiting my profile. I'm aspiring to be the best athlete I can on and off the mat and to be a role model for the next generation of female wrestlers to come. As a new wrestler, I didn't have very many role models for me to look up to because I wasn't yet introduced to the world of women's wrestling, and my middle school coaches didn't really foster the idea of women's wrestling as well, due to their lack of knowledge. With still being relatively young and a girl, that was hard for me, not only was I the only girl on my team but I felt like the only girl ever. So coming from that place, I want to become that person young girls can look up to, whether they need coaching or someone to talk to.
