Elijah Jacobs '19 Recruiting Profile

The reasons I would be a good candidate for a college team: is that I have the potential to not let failure to stop me from pursuing the goals I have in mind.  I am a different wrestler than most you will see on the mat. I am light on my feet, I know how to keep going through the third period. But what I can tell you is that I will show respect before and after the match; win or lose. I have won multiple tournaments in my high school career. I have placed at Brute Nationals, placed 2nd at regionals; and clinched a 5th place medal at state. It's always been a dream of mine to wrestle in college since the 5th grade. My intended major is in Biology, to pursue a career in the medical field. Extracurricular activities I am involved in is Orchestra, I play the cello in the Philharmonic class, which is the second highest class in the school. To sum it up, I am truly looking forward to my future with the school that accepts me, helps me become a better man, and helps me with my wrestling career as well!
