In college I would like to major in Business Management, as well as Sports Management. I prefer to be a better rounded person achieving degrees in both of these fields. I would like to be a college athlete participating in the sport of wrestling, while maintaining high grades in all of my classes. After college I would like to be a coach as well as having a position to help out young athletes reach their goals in sports and in life. I was touched by the people in my life that made my goals come true and is currently helping me reach higher goals. Whether that would be as a coach, athletic director, physical trainer or mentor; I want to play a role in the lives of these athletes. I have always been labeled as someone with great qualities for a coach, displaying patience, leadership, and communication skills in helping me relate to the person that I am training. I have participated in varsity athletics from my freshman year up until now. I participate in football in the fall, wrestling in the winter and track and field in the spring. During the spring and summer we, as a team, are in the weight room to get ready for football. Then, in July and early August we start football practices, which are every day and sometimes two times per day. For wrestling, I go back in the weight room and start conditioning for the season the day after football season is over. In November we start practicing for wrestling and our season will continue to until March which is when the State Tournament is held. During the spring is when I am in track, however I begin wrestling season mid-way through, and continue with track until the middle of May. When I am not working towards my football, wrestling, track and field athletics, I am also working on my tae-kwon-do skills as well. All of this happens after I have participated in my school organizations during the school hours.
I am writing this prior to starting my senior year in High School. I will graduate High School in May 2013 from Blanchester High School in Clinton County, Ohio. I started wrestling in eighth grade. During my High School career I qualified for the District tournament my freshman, sophomore and junior years. I was a state placer my junior year, placing fifth. I have been on the varsity wrestling team my freshman, sophomore and junior years. I also play football and participate in Track and Field. I have been on the varsity teams in all of the sports I participate in. I plan on wrestling at a college level after I graduate High School. I currently have a 24 on my ACT in which I plan to take one more time during my senior year. I am a life time member of the Gifted Program. I have been in all Honors Classes during my entire High School Career and I will have three AP classes during my senior year.
