I've been wrestling since my freshman year and at first I didn't get expect to get very far considering it was my first year wrestling. During my freshman year I made varsity and tried my best to do the best I could on the mat. My coaches were very impressed on how I did and how I tried my best for my first year. During the offseason that year I started wrestling outside of school and it helped my progression on becoming a better wrestler. I started to do tournaments outside of school too, to try to advance my skill. During the offseason I also continued my taekwondo progression and it helped me understand more about wrestling. Starting my sophomore season I could see the improvement in my skills and in my wrestling knowing that the work I put in the offseason was paying off I was very pleased and so were my coaches. My season came to an end early following an injury to my thumb but I'm positive that these next few years left I will put my all into it. Some of the goals I have for these upcoming seasons is to place at regionals and make it to states and possibly place at states.
