Experience, hard work, and resilience probably best define what I know about myself so far; even though I am only 15. I come from a military family. I have gone to 9 different schools and have lived in 4 different states. Wherever I have landed, I have had to work to earn my stripes and adapt to the new challenges provided to me. I have had success in a variety of sports where ever I was, highlighting my ability to compete at a high level, no matter the situation. In both Texas and Alaska, I have played for the Regional Football Championships and was a Team Captain. Also, I finished in 2nd Place two different years competing in the USBC Pepsi State Bowling Championship in both states. Lastly, I also played my true love, baseball. I made the All-Star team in Texas and every season I played in Alaska. My first season of baseball in Alaska, I had to work hard to earn my spot on the regional travel team. We won the Pony State Championship that year and I developed my love for the sport under the guidance of some great coaches. The next year, I was allowed to play up a division for the State Championship Tournament in which we came in second. My family moved to Hawaii and I was able to secure spots on a Babe Ruth League Team and an American Legion Team. One short year later I moved back to Alaska where I made the AA Varsity American Legion Team as a Freshman and am now starting on my Varsity High School Team batting in the four hole. As always, I am working hard to show my abilities and character.
I am looking to join a program that will help me develop not only as a baseball player, but in academics and as a man. I am confident in my athletic abilities and feel I have the experience and character to help other players, as well. I truly look forward to helping a program and helping others around me.
