Mathieu Morin '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm looking for a college that is strong athletically, and academically. I know I can be a great fit on a team including those major criteria because I'm always a hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. I've always been a hard worker because to fulfill my dreams of becoming a college athlete, and doing so coming from Canada where opportunities are more limited, I can't take anything for granted and always give 100% no matter what. Getting a late jump and not starting to play baseball until I was 11 years old is an obstacle I've had to face as catching up to all those kids who have been playing for 15 plus years is not easy. But I know I'll do anything to achieve my dream. On and off the field I bring a very good work ethic and good leadership as I've had been a captain on many of the sports teams I've played on. On the diamond I'm a very versatile player as I am a primary catcher, but can play anywhere my coach needs me. In the classroom I've created good study habits which let me achieve my goals academically. In all I'm a very coachable player and a good fit on any team.
