Robert McCormick,...
2019 HighlightsMy name is Robert McCormick and I am a rising junior at Walnut High School. Because of my many years of hard work and training, I consistently produce good results and am batted up in the line-up. I play in both the outfield and infield at an elite level. I play third and first base for my High school and Travel team. I enjoy baseball because of the competitiveness and urgency of the players around me that give me the drive to get better and earn my position. When I am not with my team practicing or playing games, I am getting stronger at home by working out and keeping my skills honed by working on my hitting and agility at home everyday. I have done one Perfect Game showcase and am planning on doing more. In that showcase, I scored a 7.5 and my hitting was mentioned in the scouting report. Also, I value academics very highly and as I take all honors/AP classes, maintaining a 3.9 GPA throughout my freshman year. I would bring strong abilities as an outfielder and infielder, a solid and consistent hitter, and as an individual with the willingness to listen and spend the time and work to improve.
