I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. It has provided me with many experiences that have taught me lessons not only about the game but life as well. I love to play the sport, but more importantly, I love to compete. On the field, I have a high baseball IQ, am mentally tough, and work hard to set an example for my teammates. I also strive to be coachable and be able to grow from the feedback that I am given. I am an extremely hard worker and my goal is to lead by example. I am also very invested in the classroom. I am a part of the National Honor Society, and have been a part of the student council for many years. I have been on the honor roll each semester that I have attended high school. These experiences have put me in situations where I have developed and grown my leadership skills. My main academic goal for high school is to graduate with a 4.5 GPA. I'm looking for a college that provides an environment where I can continue to grow and develop on the baseball field and as a student. I want to attend a school that can put me in challenging situations and allow me to be able to push myself to be the best version of myself. Most importantly, I want to be a role model to the people around me. I hope to find a school that’s a good match for me in my pursuit of success in both baseball and academics.
