Personal Statement

My name is Dylan Mobley, I live in the small town of Meeker, Colorado with a population of 3,000. So i know for me to get noticed i have to work hard; all the time. In high school i have achieved a few awards. I have lettered in Varsity in baseball and basketball all four years. To go along with that i have been awarded All-Conference in baseball and basketball since my sophomore year. I was given the Coaches award in basketball for being the hardest worker on the team. In football i was given the Iron Eagle award for not missing a single practice. Surely, one thing i can bring to a team is hard work and a certain athletic set of skills. I will do whatever it takes to be the last one standing, that's how bad i want to be the best. A big school would be nice, but what i really need is a full ride. My desired Major is Social Sciences.

  • AwardsSelected as secondary to attend 2011 HOBY Conference (a very large leadership conference). The teachers in every school select a boy and girl Sophomore to attend. As of 5/21/12 I became a current member of the National Honor Society. I was High Honors from 2010-2014. In 2014 I was named a National Scholar Athlete recipient.
  • ActivitiesI'm involved in our local FFA chapter. I attend conferences yearly and am on the Business Math team. One other thing important to me is my church. I do fundraisers around the year for summer trips and ivolve myself as much as possible. I also help coach the local baseball team every summer.
