Hi coaches, my name is Daniel (Danny) Curran. I am a RHP and First Baseman. I am from Cromwell, Connecticut. I am in my Junior year of Highschool at Xavier High school in Middletown, Connecticut. I am playing for the CT Bearcats. My coaches tell me that I am the hardest workers on the team, from practice, games, the weightroom, and anything I do outside of sports. They also tell me I am one of the smartest players on the team. Baseball wise, my coaches tell also tell me that I have great footwork and good flexibility at 1st base and a good and Fastly improving arm off the mound. I currently am 5'9 and weigh 185 pounds, and still growing and developing. I realize how important the classroom is to playing sports, so I pride myself on my effort in the classroom. My GPA is a 3.81 and I made Honor roll last year, which is one of the highest awards at my school. My goal for the future is to keep baseball in my life for as long as possible because I have always played sports and have never imagined myself in a life without baseball in it. My goal for college is to go to a college that is highly completive as well as having a very strong academic program. This goal is the reason that every day I work as hard as possible to be the best player that I can be. You will find that I am a very coachable player, I have never had a coach that has talked down about coaching me, this is another aspect that I pride myself on. I will be a great fit to any team because I get along with all my teammates and have a great and positive personality. I am known as a leader on Bearcats, I never get down on anyone for making a mistake or on the field or off, instead I pick them up and help them fix that mistake so that next time that situation comes their way, they will succeed, all well taking baseball seriously and excelling at the game, never getting down on myself either, to show my teammates that they should not get down on themselves ether.
If you are looking for a young, growing, developing, and hardworking 2026 1st Baseman and RHP, then I invite you to take a look at my profile and follow me on NCSA, and I hope you will consider me as a potential future prospect for your college.
Thank You, Daniel (Danny) Curran.
