Personal Statement
My name is Jack Finnegan. I play center field for Xavier High School (Middletown, CT), Westbrook Legion (CT Post 103), and the Shoreline Hammerheads 19U AAU Team (Shoreline Baseball Academy, Old Lyme, CT). This summer (wood bat) I hit .415 with 22 walks and 29 stolen bases from the leadoff spot. I am a wide receiver for the defending Connecticut LL State Champion Xavier Falcons, an honor student with a 3.5 GPA, and a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. I am a hard working student athlete who gives 100% each and every day on the field and in the classroom. I would like to attend college in the eastern United States where I hope to pursue a degree from a school with a fine academic reputation in political science.
