DIEGO ORTIZ '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Diego Ortiz an outfielder from the class of 2021 attending TNXL ACADEMY in Orlando, Fl.  I am ready to begin the process of selecting the university that will help me continue my academic and baseball career.  I am currently a good student with great discipline.  

After school, I spend most of my time and effort into baseball.  I have been in multiple elite travel teams and programs like: MLB Jr. Elite Program in which I was promoted the following semester to a team that had players that were three years older than me. Also I have participated in Perfect Game Series Tournament achieving MVP award in 2017.  Also I have participated in several championships as a key member of the Potros Baseball Club standing out in many of them.  I am ready to develop and craft my abilities to compete in big stages at a college level.

This summer I participated in some tournaments and a showcase in Florida and in Alabama.

• During my years in high school, I have been preparing for the challenge of a great university and baseball program.  At school, I also participate in other extracurricular activities, such as the beach clean-ups, with Scuba Dogs Society Project.   I am also involved in my school’s community service program, where I have assisted in the care of dogs housed in shelters and assisting seniors in elderly homes.

I am interested in the fields of business management. My goals are to attend college in the U.S. and play baseball. I am really glad I reached out to you and hope to hear from you guys.
