Samuel Simmons '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samuel Simmons and I am a rising Junior at Armwood High School in Seffner, Florida.  I am a LHP with more than 10 years of playing experience, including Little League, Babe Ruth, Travel Ball, and Varsity baseball experience.  I will graduate from Armwood's Collegiate Academy in 2021 with my high school diploma and Associates degree. 

My extracurricular activities include student government, DECA, and volunteering.  I have also worked for the last several summers with YMCA Camp High Harbour at Lake Burton (Metro Atlanta) as a participant in their leadership development programs.  I am 6' 0" and weigh 195pounds presently.  My college goals and career aspirations include a major in business or pre-law.  I would be honored to have a military career after college if the opportunity arises, and hope to go on to pursue a law degree. 

I have benefited from strong family and academic role models, including my grandfather, who served in both the US Army and Air Force and gave me a strong example of servant leadership.  I am a dedicated team member who has both the discipline and optimism needed for athletic and academic success.  The opportunity to combine academic learning, service to my country, and my love of baseball would help me achieve a lifelong goal.
