Charles Murrah '13 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Charles Murrah. I am a 6'2", 180 pound Junior at Maclay School in Tallahassee, Florida. I was rookie of the year on my varsity baseball team a year ago. I also play golf at the varsity level, lettering three times and achieving a swing speed of 120 mph and a ball speed of 170 mph with my driver. I played basketball with the varsity team this past summer, and look forward to playing with them again next Fall. I enjoy the competition that all three sports provides, but playing baseball has always been my passion.
I can offer my team leadership on and off the field. I always try to be with my team when we work out, but also I try to advance my skills on my own. I am open to playing anywhere geographically. Large schools are nice, but I would play for any size school, as long as the academics are a good fit. I have not narrowed down my major list yet.
I would like to make an impact on my team wherever I play. I love baseball, and I would love to continue playing it for as long as possible. Thank you for your consideration.
