Alexandre Primeau '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexandre Primeau from Montreal, Quebec (Canada). I am considering going to USA to pursue a major in mechanical engineering.

Apart from education which remains my first priority, I am a baseball player targeting to play at a higher level than what can be found here in Quebec. 6’ 1’’ (215 pounds) RHP, I am currently playing at the highest level league available in Quebec. League is named ‘’Ligue de Baseball Junior Elite du Quebec (LBJEQ)’’ . The Ligue de Baseball Junior Élite du Québec is the top-level amateur summer baseball league in the Canadian province of Quebec. It is composed entirely of junior elite players - the best baseball players in the province under 22 years of age.

After a strong rookie year in 2022, I rapidly became number one starter of the team and one of the top of the league. I am a 88-89 mph on average pitcher that did touch 94 mph during summer 2023. I am a 4 pitches type pitcher : FB, 12-6 knuckle curve, Circle C CUP and very efficient cutter). I tried to develop in 2023 a quite surprising sinker. Lot of movement on my ball I am told, but room for improvement in many areas.

My education on and off the field is extremely important for me. 

My aspirations again is to play and learn at a higher competition level than what we can find here in Quebec. What you see is what you get with myself on the mound. If of interest you will find the video of a complete game (shutout, 2 hits, 8IP into extra innings) in July 2022. Even if from a year ago, this is typical of how I normally manage games.
