Jacob Elyea '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Elyea and I am a 2025 second baseman. I am 6ft and 140lbs. 

I have played baseball competitively since the age of 8 with the East Nepean Eagles in Ottawa, Ontario Canada. 

I am a dedicated, hardworking  coachable player along with being a supportive and encouraging  team mate. 

I bring a strong understanding of the game, solid defensive play, I am a smart base runner and I hit for average.

For  game play, I believe practices are core to athletes no matter what level you are. You will see me give it all  in practice which translates to success on the game field. 

I focus not only on on field training but off field training as well. I actively participate in clinics and follow a strength and developing program to ensure I continue to develop  as an all around athlete.

I believe strongly in combining academics and athletics to develop into a well rounded person.

In my junior year ( grade 10 year)- I was recognized as Junior athlete of the year at my high school and achieved a GPA of 83% to be noted as an honour roll student.

I am looking for a school that will continue to foster my skill development in baseball at a competitive  level along with allowing me to pursue my academics for life after baseball.
