Bullpen Session N...I have been interested in, and have loved the sport of baseball for my entire life, thanks to both my parents. My mom and dad both love the game and have passed that passion down to me. I started playing when I was four years old and have gained nothing but respect and appreciation for the game since. Thanks to my coaches and teammates throughout the years, I have learned a lot about myself as not only a ballplayer, but as a person. Through the sport, one thing I’ve learned is that I work best when I am under pressure and that mentally I am not okay with failure. Obviously there will be physical failures, but I believe that it is the way I deal with those failures and learn from them that makes me the person I am.
Apart from my family, baseball and school are the most important aspects of my life. I like to live my life to the fullest and I always want to excel to the best of my ability in whatever I do, including school and baseball. My academic goals for the future include studying history post-secondary and then obtaining my law degree to become a lawyer. I have been on the academic honour roll every year so far in high school and my academic success is something of great importance to me. Because of this, I plan on continuing to be academically successful throughout college.
