2022 Mid Season H...I was born in Romania, and lived there for a year, before moving to Canada with my parents. If you were to ask anyone there what baseball was, they probably wouldn't be able to tell you it was a sport, and that was the case with my family. Upon moving to Canada, and growing up, my dad wanted me to play soccer, tennis, or basketball, because those were about the only known sports back home. Let's just say that none of them interested me, except basketball, which I liked, but wasn't the best at. I've grown over time to be more competitive, but back then it wasn't for me. One day, on TV, I saw the Toronto Blue Jays and started playing baseball with my LEGO characters. My parents wondered what I was doing, and I told them I was playing baseball. They did a bit of research and found out that my city has a baseball team, but they unknowingly signed me up for softball instead, because they didn't know the difference. I dominated softball and switched to baseball the following year. Since then, I've moved up a level each year to get to where I am now, and I really enjoy it, and am very excited for my future. I've put in a lot of hard work, and I will continue to do so.
I'm looking for a university that offers my preferred major, architecture, and that has high academic standards. Athletically, I love competing and I can bring a lot to a college team, offensively and defensively, which is why I want to play at the highest level. I also have a great attitude and never give up on anything, on and off the field. I also play the game with a lot of energy. Ask any of my coaches and they would all say that I am an extremely hard worker and very athletic. I’m always lifting, getting stronger and perfecting my game from all standpoints, without anyone having to tell me to do it.
Lastly, what makes me different from most other recruits is the ability to play in all positions on the field, perform at the highest level of baseball and in the most clutch situations, while also maintaining very high academics.
