Reece Huntley '16 Recruiting Profile

My passion for baseball started when I was 4 years old, playing T-ball.  Over the years, I've received multiple MVP and Top Pitcher Awards but my best moment was playing with the top players in the Canadian Nationals. My biggest success as a pitcher is throwing a 1 hit complete game shutout at the Pacific Northwest Prospects Tournament. In 2014, I focused on strengthening and conditioning with a team of trainers and coaches to build the power I needed to perform as a stronger pitcher.  With more body and muscle mass, I am throwing harder than ever.

I have learned that with teamwork and a high level of commitment, anything is possible.  I applied the same level of work ethics to school. My Junior year has been my best academic year yet.  Playing college baseball has been a lifelong dream of mine and I would be honoured to be part of a program that allows me to play ball at the highest level I can and at the same time reach my academic goals in Law or Business.
