2021 Highlights My name is Seamus McGrenere. I first fell in love with baseball as a kid when I went to my first Blue Jays game and the third base coach for the rays threw me a ball, I then signed up for house league. Ten years later and I'm playing at the highest level available at my age with the Ontario Royals. My love and passion for the game and winning pushes me to work as hard as physically possible in everything that will help my baseball and make me better as a person, this includes school. One of the things that I have had to work a lot at, is gaining muscle mass. I was scrawny 5'6 starting my freshman year, I'm now a lanky 6'4 and growing. Over the last few months I've worked extremely hard to put on weight, accumulating 20 pounds of muscle in the past 3 months, now at 170. I'm fully committed to continue putting on more. One of the things that I would describe myself as, is competitive. I have a hunger and a drive that fuels me to put myself in the best place possible to win every battle, whether that be an at bat, pitching, a big test or the whole baseball game. I will help and contribute on any team that I'm on, in the game and in the locker room. I want to win.
