David Strachan '23 Recruiting Profile

          All coaches, please accept my greetings. My name is David, and I'm here to tell you why I'd be an excellent addition to your team. I'll bring positive energy to the team, pump everyone up, and keep an eye out for my teammates. This way, everyone will be focused and in the right frame of mind to perform to their full potential. I'm different from most people because I'm nice to my classmates, I respect people, and I have a pleasant personality. When it comes to academics, I've always been at the top of my class. My GPA has always been higher than 3.55 in all my classes. I've won several spelling bees and was valedictorian in two grade levels. I also skipped a grade and am now where I am. Now comes the exciting part: I am extremely athletic in almost any sport. I used to play basketball and baseball for my previous high school. We have our own baseball league in the Bahamas called JBLN, which stands for Junior Baseball League of Nassau. I've won five championships so far, and if I'm on your team, we could win another. I am not only a baseball and basketball player, but I also ran track. I've won three silver medals in the 100m, so I'm fast.
