Mitchell Smith '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mitchell Smith, I am 16 years old living in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Canada. I have played baseball for many years. This year our team finished 3rd in provincials (out of 14 teams) my first position on the  field is pitcher I throw a 4 seam fastball, 2 seam fastball, curveball, knuckleball and a slider. My ERA for the season is approx 3.05.My  second position is catcher and 2nd basemen . In 2013  we won our division  and provincial championship for our level . As I start grade 11 I look forward to the softball team, basketball team

and possibly the track team. I was involved in military air cadets (with a level 4 in marksmanship). In the past I was a member of the  school lacrosse team and  the school softball team. 

I am looking to attend school in the United States because I want to play pro baseball and I think that my best chance to get there is to play/study in the States in a more organized and longer seasons, that cannot be offered in Canada.
