Personal Statement

My name is Omar Alnazer in the graduating class of 2023, I am a Shortstop and Right hand pitcher however I am able to play another position if needed. I am 5’10, 195 pounds and goto the American School of Kuwait. I currently play for the Kbsc and the Kuwait national team. I have a gpa of 3.1 and a SAT score of 1020 however I will be bringing my grades up this year and retaking the SAT with hopes for a higher score.

Personally I would love to be apart of your College as it would be the perfect university for me to attend to. The baseball program interests me alot and I believe I can bring good things towards the team if given the chance. A main factor  would be playing the sport I love. It would be highly appreciated for a meeting to talk.

  • Omar Alnazer is a 2023 SS/RHP, 1B, 3B, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-11 188 lb. frame from Parma, OH who attends American School of Kuwait. He has a good frame with a thick build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.90 seconds. Primary shortstop that works hard to get into a good fielding position. He has choppier steps working towards the back hand and funnels the ball into his chest well. He throws with a long arm action and showed nice body control on the slow roller before firing accurately to first. Right-handed hitter that starts in a medium base with high hands and a high back elbow. He has an upright stance and uses a quick leg lift trigger for timing. He has quick hands through the zone that allow him to impact the ball to the pull side when he is on time and makes contact out in front of the plate. He has an uphill swing path and looks to lift the ball into the outfield. He made his best contact when working back up the middle of the field. Good student.
