I have been on two New Zealand National Title winning teams - 13 and under and the 16U both as a pickup player as my club did not enter the tournament. I have won the Ellesmere College Fair Play Sportsperson of the year award at my highschool being the first student in Year 11 to gain the award - it is usually awarded to Year 13 students. I have great leadership skills and am the current student sports leader at my school. I love sports, but baseball is my passion.
This past year has been a very busy one for me. I represented New Zealand in the Babe Ruth World Series in Branson Missouri this year and I played catcher. I then was selected for the New Zealand National team to play in Sydney Australia - I was selected as a utility player for my great all-round abilities. I played the position of pitcher and outfielder and was a backup catcher in the dugout.
I was then selected to play for the Down-under Travellers - to represent Australia. I played as a catcher for teams in exhibition games against the IMG academy and then travelled to Puerto Rico for the recent World Series.
