Macleod Kennedy '22 Recruiting Profile

I have played organized baseball since I was 5 and I've always loved the sport. Not only do I love playing the sport itself, I love watching and studying the game and its history. I pride myself on my work ethic and effort, on and off the diamond. This includes in the gym, classroom, and the practise field.

On the field, I've made efforts to be as close to a 5-tool player as I can. I can hit for both average and power, I have good speed and fielding, and my arm is strong in the outfield. I am developing my pitching as well, with a good fastball and curveball. In short, I add value to a team both offensively and defensively.

I believe that collegiate sports is great for those who want to gain a once in a lifetime experience in the sport they love, and that there is no guarantee of a professional career after. However, I pursue college athletics because my goal is to play baseball at the highest level I can.
