I love baseball. When I graduate from Minnesota’s Hopkins High School in 2023, my goal is to find a college or university that allows me to excel as both a student and an athlete. Though I’ve been playing baseball all my life, when I’m not on a field, I’m lifting weights, doing catching work, or working on my on my swing. I’m a left handed hitter that bats at the middle of the lineup. I play both catcher and third base for the Hopkins High School team.
My strongest positions are catcher and third base, but I also play second base and will happily contribute wherever the coach wants me to play. In the off season, I train at MacStrength and compete for the MN Blizzard. In my training I have regularly caught Division 1 and professional players over their break seeing both LHP and RHP consistently in the low 90s. At MacStrength I take catching instruction from two former minor league catchers, Aaron McEachran and Matt Paulsen. I am also apart of their Strength & Conditioning Program lead by Zach Elder (NSCA Certified, MS in Exercise Science),
My drive to succeed as an athlete is also demonstrated in my schoolwork. Since first grade, I have been on an advanced track for math. Throughout high school, I attempted to maintain or exceed a GPA of 3.5 each semester.
I really enjoying competing and pushing myself to improve all aspects of my game. The hard work is something I’ve come to enjoy. I really love playing the game of baseball and greatly look forward to doing so in college.
