John "Gentry" Tigrett '20 Recruiting Profile

I graduated from Brandon High School in 2020 where  I was the starting catcher from 10th -12th grade. I also played some as a 9th grader. My senior year was cut short by the pandemic, but I was blessed to be able to continue my baseball career at Hinds Community College. 

I have been at Hinds CC since the fall of 2020 where I have continued my baseball and academic career. I have learned a lot and have enjoyed playing at Hinds CC. I hope to further my baseball career at the next level. 

I work hard on and off the field. In high school, I maintained a 3.8 GPA while taking advanced placement classes, as well as dual enrollment classes. While at Hinds CC, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and am a member of Phi Theta Kappa. 

I am honest, hard-working, motivated and a team player, but I am also a leader. I would love to play at the next level and continue my academic and baseball career.
