Blake Stegner '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Blake Stegner.  I am a 5’11", 165 lb  Pitcher/Outfielder from Blue Springs Missouri.  I have been playing baseball since as long as I can remember and love playing and competing on the diamond.  I am interested in furthering my education and having the opportunity to play baseball at the college level. 

I am a dedicated baseball player and continue to work on my game every chance I get. From a pitching standpoint, I am working hard to gain velocity.  I am a very consistent “throw for strike” pitcher and my current and previous coaches have confidence in me to deliver in game situations.  For hitting, I have been working on driving the ball and hip and body rotation.  In addition, during the off season, I have been working diligently towards improving speed and agility as well as gaining size and strength. 

Not only am I an extremely motivated baseball player, I am also very motivated in the classroom.  I have a 4.056 GPA.  I am looking for a college that provides opportunity for me to play baseball as well as excel as a student athlete. 

In summary,   I would describe myself as a leader who has passion for the game, dedicated and determined to do what it takes to succeed.  I offer to my future school my commitment academically and athletically.  I appreciate you taking the time to read my personal statement.
