I am the right player for your college team because I am a fierce competitor on the mound and will help my school win championships. I work hard in classroom and on the diamond. I will do anything that is asked of me. Competing at a high level in multiple sports while going to school and earning good grades has taught me to work hard, focus, and prioritize. I believe this has helped prepare me to be a succsessful collegiate student athlete. My goals in college include:

Help my team win a National Championship
To be a starting pitcher when I step on a college campus
Have an ERA below 1.0 and earn All American Honors
Graduate with a 3.5 GPA or above
Prepare myself for a post college career on and off the field.

1/15/18 - Infranca is a 5-foot-8 150-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher in Kansas’ 2021 class. He ran a 4.90 home to first and has a 77 mph exit velocity. At the plate, balanced set up, smooth load into back side, minimal hand load, level path, swing creates line drives gap to gap. On the infield, 67 mph positional velocity, high three quarters arm slot, feet create momentum to throw, clean glove to hand transfer, plays though the ball. On the mound, Infranca acclerates down the mound after a controlled leg lift, repeats delivery, over the top release, in line stride, strike thrower, fastball at 68-74 mph, works down in the zone, breaking ball has 12-to-6 shape, lands for a strike, change up has slight sink 61-63 mph, throws with near fastball arm speed.

10/22/17 - Infranca is a 5-foot-8 165-pound left-handed hitting first baseman and left-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 810 60 and a 5.26 home to first. He has a 75 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in a wide base, small controlled leg lift, loads against back side, level path, hands work inside the ball, mostly middle to opposite field contact during batting practice. At first base, 69 mph positional velocity, quick catch and throw, three quarters arm slot, aggressive to the ball, clean glove to hand transfer, accurate throws. On the mound, Infranca throws with some effort, controlled lift, accelerates down the mound, hides ball well, strike thrower, works with quick tempo between pitches, challenges hitters, fastball at 72-74 mph, slight arm side run, 1-to-7 shape on breaking ball, 61-63 mph, change up at 68-69 mph, slight sinking action.

2017 14U National Showcase Aug 05, 2017 PG Grade: 7 Michael Infranca is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Blue Springs, MO who attends Blue Springs High School. Young, broad shouldered build with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary lefthanded pitcher, begins delivery with a hip turn at top while getting tall on backside, shorter stride down the mound and lands slightly closed off while working to a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays short through the back and hides the ball well, shows tempo and feel for delivery while generating short running life to fastball down in zone; topped out at 71 mph. Induced weak contact and worked away from hitters, short 1-7 shaped curveball which offered depth up to 63 mph with tighter rotation to slider at 66 mph. Showed well around the first base bag in live action with quick footwork, fields the ball out front and picked well, compact arm action, short and quick steps charging in. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Upper body dominant swing, occasionally gets to front side early, best contact came when showing a line drive swing plane through the zone. Does a nice job of staying short to the ball while implementing a contact approach in the box. Very good student.
