Ethan Turner '23 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was five years old.  It is a part of me. I love the game and I love playing. I want to play college ball and will do whatever  it takes to get to a level good enough to play in college. I give  100% to everything I do on the field and off the field. I always strive to learn more and become better.  I love the team aspect as much as I love improving my skills, and learning how to use my talents to the best of my ability each time I play.  My goal is to play baseball in college, while pursuing a degree in animal science, natural resource management or a degree that gives me a career opportunity of working with animals  

I am the type of person that gives 110% percent to everything I do. I give it my all on the field , at practice, and at school. When I set a goal I will do what it takes to reach it, and if someone tells me I can't I will work that much harder. I am a team player, and love learning from teammates and coaches. I love seeing my teammates succeed just as much as I love my own success. Baseball  is like having an extended family, and I love that about this sport. 

I believe attitude is a huge part of any success or failure in life. I try to stay positive even when things are hard. I try to lift my teammates up, and keep them positive as well. Baseball  is such a mental sport, and we all have bad days, and bad games   so I try to take the bad days or games   and learn from them. I try to get better and be better.
